Legal Metrology and Technical Regulations

The Deputy Superintendence for Legal metrology and Technical Regulations is in charge to supervise and control the compliance of technical regulations related to legal metrology provisions, quality and quantity control of liquid fuels derived from oil distributing stations throughout the Colombian territory. It is responsible for: technical regulations, legal metrology AND price control.

ÁLVARO YÁÑEZ RUEDA

Lawyer specialized in Administrative Litigation Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia and a Master's Degree in Economic Law with emphasis in Economic Analysis and Economic Regulation from the same university. He have worked as an advisor to the Office of the Superintendent of Industry and Commerce in matters related to competition law, and as a lawyer for the Legal Advisory Office.
