The Deputy Superintendence for Personal Data Protection of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), launched a new contest for schools from Bogotá D.C, in order to promote data protection rights among children from 6° to 11° grade.

The contest was designed to articulate the teaching of data protection rights with the opportunity to share these teachings with the family, thus encouraging the families to learn more about this important issue.

Children from private and public schools may participate in the contest and the assignment is to create a comic that expresses their perception about personal data protection, the security levels they currently use and other relevant issues.

The contest will close on October 31 of 2018.
