The Advisor of the Deputy Superintendent for Legal Metrology and Technical Regulations of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), Mr. Jairo Enrique Malaver, was invited to the “2018 COOMET-OIML Conferences” in Russia to dictate a conference regarding the “Colombian experience with pre-packaged control”.

The matter has had great attention in the course of 2018 and is considered one of the great strengths of the Colombian metrological regime, reason why our country has received several invitations to expose its experience in the subject.

Mr. Malaver’s presentation allowed the positioning of Colombia as a regional and international reference in this field, since the event was attended by numerous agencies of legal metrology of around the world.
