Santa Marta is a beutiful city located in the north coast of Colombia, capital of the Magdalena región and one of the most important touristic destinations of the Caribe, just like Barranquilla and Cartagena. Surrounded by mountains such as the Sierra Nevada Mountain, has a great variety of wildlife species since it is located near a forest and the beach. “Ciudad Perdida” located near the Sierra Nevada Mountain; it is one of the most visited touristic places in Colombia and it is a highly interested place for archeology lovers.

Transportation
Assistants may arrive to Santa Marta by air to the International Airport SIMÓN BOLIVAR, located at 17 km (10.5 miles) south from the center of Santa Marta. Buses and taxis can communicate you from the airport to anywhere in the city.

Bogota has a standard security level. It is recommended to use the safety deposits located in the hotel rooms for storing documents and value accessories, also it is recommended to use the information and the help provided by the hotel when asking for transportation, tourist guides and safety recommendation inside the city.
