In year and a half Superindustry has imposed fines for more than $ 111 billion for violations to free competition

During the International Competition Network (ICN) Annual Conference, an event that brought together more than 136 competition authorities worldwide, the Superintendent of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Andrés Barreto González, informed that between January 2018 and May 2019 the SIC has issued a total of 18 sanction resolutions on the occasion of investigations carried out against legal and natural persons who were found as participants in violations of the Colombian competition regimen.

The Superintendent added that currently, the SIC is conducting 16 administrative investigations for restrictive practices to competition, processes that progress satisfactorily and from which results are expected soon.
