The Deputy Superintendent for Industrial Property, Ms. Mónica Ramírez, joined the “Subregional Symposium on Country Brand experiences and legal protection” that was held in Lima, Perú, in May 14-15 of 2018.

Ms. Ramírez participation in this Seminar was of great important since the different scenarios of the protection regime of the “Country Brand” were analyzed both in the Andean Community and in the international arena. They Symposium also allowed the exchanged of experiences in the matter with the different attendees of the event, among these, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador.

Over the Symposium, Ms. Ramírez was able to share the Colombian experience in the protection of the Country Brand regime, all in order to identify the benefits and challenges of protecting that concept.
