Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio

The SIC, in its role as the national competition authority, filed a statement of objections against 8 agents in the market of construction, maintenance and adaptation of state's facilities, and 8 natural persons.

According to the evidence collected, the persons under investigation would have allegedly implemented a strategy to coordinate, at all stages of the public selection processes, the presentation of multiple expressions of interest and/or proposals in order to receive their award.

The administrative action of the Deputy Superintendence for Competition Protection began with a complaint lodged by the National Institute of Health and the District Department of Finance. During the course of the investigation, the SIC identified that the conduct subject to investigation it would have not been limited only to the reported case, but it would have been extended to 104 state contracting processes.

The investigation carried out by the SIC does not involve the conduct of any public official that developed the selection processes investigated.

7.   C & Z INGENIEROS CIVILES S.A.S.

8.   ARIETE INGENIERÍA & CONSTRUCCIÓN S.A.S.
