To strengthen its commitment to the formation of human capital, the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) hosted a new training session in the field of National Registry of Databases (RNBD, for its acronym in Spanish). This event, which was carried out by officials from the Deputy Superintendence for the Protection of Personal Data, was aimed at public entities, companies, and non-profit entities.

During the training sessions, one of the topics addressed (both face-to-face and virtually) was the following: pecuniary consequences when failing to register databases

It should be noted that the deadline for public entities to register their databases in the Superintendence's system will expire on January 31, 2019.
