Ms. Maria Carolina Corcione, Deputy Superintendent for Consumer Protection of the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), from November 25 to 29, in Paris, France, represented Colombia at the Committee on Consumer Policy (CCP) 96th Session and at the joint meeting of the CCP and the Competition Committee. These were organized by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
Ms. Corcione was invited to participate in the planning of the work program for 2019-20 as well as to be the representative of the Entity in different discussions on consumer protection, including: consumer confidence in the electronic media, collaborative economy platforms, trends in electronic commerce, and the implementation of artificial intelligence.
