Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio

Since last July until July 2017, Colombia will exercise the coordination of the Consumer Protection Subgroup of the Pacific Alliance, through the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce – specifically, through the Deputy Superintendence for Consumer Protection.

The main goal of the SIC is to keep working in the promotion of consumers rights in the region and to strengthen cooperation activities in this field at an international level.

This Subgroup is integrated by the consumer protection agencies of the member countries of the Pacific Alliance: Chile (SERNAC), Mexico (PROFECO), Peru (INDECOPI) and Colombia’s (SIC).
